Looks like the next 4-5 days is going to suck. With the potential for a hurricane to hit us, this isn’t good. It seems like the weather is getting worse every year… not sure if it’s due to humanity, the melting polar caps, or what, but it definitely stinks.
Aside from the obvious reasons to not want a hurricane, it’s really hard to partake in the amateur astronomy hobby with constant clouds and rain. Someone must have bought a REALLY big scope.
I’m hoping it all clears out for the East Coast Star Party coming up in October, looking forward to that.
